GINTAMA 2 SERIES
Hijikata is one of my favourite characters in the Gintama series due to his strong sense of pride and yet his willingness to help others. Gintoki and his fellow slackers take on part-time work with the Shogun that leads them right into the middle of an armed Shinsengumi schism. Introduced as the brains of the Shinsengumi, he is commonly known as the Demonic Vice-Commander, striking fear into his enemies and subordinates (with the exceptions of Kondou Isao and Okita Sougo). First they were the waitresses in a nightclub, then they became barbers. At Yorozuya Kabukicho, Gintoki Sakata, Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura were worried about not being able to pay rent so they went out to work.
